This website aims at informing about my private activities/services, which I would like to communicate with people I work/might work for. The page does not concern my employment as a professor of engineering cybernetics at the Czech Technical University in Prague. If the reader is interested in the latter, I recommend starting from my work personal page. If you are my friend or acquaintance, please, contact me directly.

- Matchmaking: I have met very many activities, company application projects, university research teams, and individuals in my home country (Czech Republic), and around the world. I am keen to think of tasks the interested parties are concerned with. I will do my best to bring new ideas to my customers and recommend them the appropriate persons, skills, technologies, and companies.
- Talent seeking: I have had the opportunity and privilege to work with many smart and diligent people in my university job. If you need a talented person, please tell me about it. I might find the right person for you.
- Being a personal (VIP tour) guide: To a visitor to the Czech Republic and/or Prague: I have known both the Czech Republic and Prague well. I am also familiar with a broader context, e.g., a historical, economic, cultural, or technological one. I like to help interesting person (people) to learn about my country/city based on individual arrangements. I can do it in English, Russian, German, and Czech. My primary motivation here is to communicate with interesting people and learn from one another.
I am Václav Hlaváč, born 1956. I mention the birth year because my oldest son has the same given name. I like being addressed by the nickname Vašek (Vashek in the English phonetic transcription).
The website name VaseHlava comes from the Czech expression “Vaše Hlava” meaning also “your mind.” Vaše Hlava is pronounced Vashe Hlava (in English phonetic transcription). One of the obligations and skills I have performed at work for many years has been talent seeking and breading. So, my name Vašek Hlaváč is somehow linked to Vaše Hlava. This idea inspired me when I named my personal website.
